Coach Nicole Camp

Boulder, Colorado


Nicole is a running coach based out of Boulder, Colorado. She has been running for over 15 years and has enjoyed success from high school to post-collegiate competition. Nicole now is turning her attention more towards coaching and teaching running and leading a healthy lifestyle. Her mentality towards running is the same as in life: Consistency and hard work can absolutely get you where you want to be.

Nicole ran in high school in northeast Ohio, then moved on to the University of Toledo to gain her degree while competing at the Division 1 level. After graduating she worked full time in Cleveland, Ohio and started to train for her first marathon. The first lesson she learned: never fully trust the mixed sports drink station during a race! Try to check the concentration by taking a sip before gulping it down.

But in all seriousness, it’s smart to train with what you’ll potentially be putting into your body if you’re in a race where you’ll need to use the drink stations. After having a few successful marathons, and PR’s in Ohio, Nicole decided to focus her attention on solely running and made the move out to Boulder in 2014. While competing has taken Nicole to some amazing places the last 15 years, her favorite races will always be her senior year of high school competing with her freshman sister, and qualifying for her first Olympic Trials in Cleveland, Ohio in front of so many people she loves.

Coaching Mentality:

Nicole Camp coaches athletes from high school to masters in everything from 2-mile up to the marathon. She was coaching under Brad Hudson in Boulder, Colorado for two years before joining Lifelong Endurance and has brought a wealth of training knowledge with her. She would loves seeing athletes compete with each other, but especially themselves to see where their drive and grit can take them!
