DIRTY THIRTY DIRT PACK

The Dirty 30 Training Group

Dirty 30 has teamed up with Lifelong Endurance to create the Dirty 30 Dirt Pack. The Dirt Pack is more than just a training group, it also offers a comprehensive  training program for every Dirty 30 runner. Leading the charge for the second year Lifelong Endurance will provide a dynamic training plan-curated specifically for the Dirty 30 course. The Dirt Pack training groups will have two training group runs a week, a weekly training video, and access to the Dirt Pack Facebook group where athletes can communicate with coaches and other runners. The training plans are offered through TrainingPeaks, who are offering a free account for athletes to log and track their training. This program will not only prepare you for the race, it will also allow you to connect with supportive community in order to best reach your goals.

How it will work:

  • Foundation Building: 10 Week Base Building Training Plan- If you sign up before the training group and plan begins, you will receive a 10  week base building plan when you sign up to help you get ready for our official training start date of February 15, 2020. This plan will help you develop a solid foundation in order to prevent injury.
  • Specific Training Program: The Detailed, dynamic training program will begin on February 15th with a group run (location TBD) and valuable training and running tips from Lifelong Endurance Coaches.  This 18-week program begins with the expectation that you have a solid base built up and you are ready to start ramping up. The coaches will start the week off with a video to guide you and help you focus on the workouts for the week.  They will lead group runs in the Golden and Boulder areas. These are great to attend if you live in the area. We will be creating Satellite training groups with Dirty 30 Ambassadors in other areas and you can create your own where athletes be doing the same workouts as the flagship group.
  • Connect on Social Media: At any point, you can join the Dirty 30 Dirt Pack Facebook group to connect with the coaches and the other Dirty 30’ers.  This is a great place to find answers to your questions, inspirations and support.
