Every athlete, no matter the experience or speed, deserves to have support and a personalized coaching experience. Success can look many different ways, and no two runners have the same obstacles an experience. That being said, most athletes are also not aware of their full potential. For that reason, Lexi uses aspects of motivational interviewing and goal setting to help runner’s realize their abilities.
Lexi’s hope is to cultivate a sense of pride, balance, and self-acceptance for athletes in their training, assisting them enjoying something bigger than the sport of running. I want to encourage others to explore new places, join a community, and feel a part of their world. Coming from the field of mental health, it is a hope of hers that athletes see running as a solace from life’s stressors, rather than an obligation.
She also believe in finding freedom and happiness in wild places, whether it is a rugged mountain trail, or a not yet run urban bike path leading to a new coffee shop. Running, in its simplest form, is the most personal mode of transportation. She believes that running should be practiced with intention, and encourages athletes to find gratitude and success in daily training.
