Performance Art | Insights into coaching

Performance Art is all about the insights of coaches,  sharing where we fit, and how we think. As coaches and athletes we are always trying to change and adapt to obtain the best performances; this blog is about exploring our relationships with athletes, information, and how we  effectively blend it all together. There has been a lot of attention given to the science of performance training; this leaves out a lot of variables. Combining communication strategies, psychology, and physiology we create some amazing.  There is an art to coaching, this is performance art at it’s finest.

Build, Share, Understand

This blog is designed to give our team an opportunity to share with the general public what we see, what we think, and how we analyze training. Our goal is to take the perception of what a coach is and what they can do for you. We want to share knowledge, and bring people up to our leave. Share insights, as well as take questions, and share about something relevant we had in conversation with a friend, colleague, or athlete.

We want this blog to have pieces at length, and short pieces and insights. Some posts will be supplemented with pictures and video, others may refer to an article, and our reaction. This could mean the analysis of a study, or taking something complicated and breaking it down.

Understanding the world of coaching doesn’t have to be hard – we know it’s not something everyone has an interest in. Our intent is to use this as a place to legitimize the career path of a coach and show that coaches are performance artists and that it’s not always in what you do, but how you do it. That’s the magic, and the art of coaching.
