Strength and conditioning is a vital part of any athletes training regimen. You wouldn’t ride your bike with one wheel, run with one shoe, so why would you skip your strength training? Lifelong Endurance believes that athletes need strength to not only stay injury free but to maintain and improve in their sport of focus! We offer remote and local options  so we can serve you no matter where you are!  Coming back from an injury, or dealing with a frustrating recurring injury? Coach Katie Whidden

She does more than coach endurance athletes. She shares her passion for movement, personal confidence, and building people into the best version of themselves. She shines in taking a tough environment like the weight room and making it a place where you can sweat and grow! Join her for weekly classes or 1:1 Sessions

History

Katie has been a passionate strength coach and personal trainer since she acquired her CSCS in 2012. She’s worked with Power Sports athletes, Endurance Athlete and  helps athletes return to the sports they love. She utilizes many common modalities to help you improve from plyometrics, standard weight training and bands. She can help you get from A to B faster and fitter than ever before!

Strength and Conditioning isn’t just something professional athletes need to to do to stay fit. It’s how the best build themselves to achieve more and get better. Building athletes isn’t just done on the roads and trails, it’s done in the weight room. We understand that a weight room can come along with a fear of hurting yourself, and a fear of the unknown.

Work with the best

Coach Katie Whidden is a coach who asks you to bring your best but will have you wearing a smile the whole time too. Expect to laugh between sets and find joy in your training. Building on her own success as a Collegiate athlete, she helps build youth and adult athletes find the best version of themselves in the weight room. She’s an aware and passionate teacher. She focuses on implementing the basics first, and will train you where you are.

Don’t be afraid to start

We know you don’t everything, and we don’t expect you to! We are here to help you where you are. We believe in providing the right amount of challenge and teaching you the skills necessary to help you improve on the run, the bike, or in the swim. We know that you might be worried you don’t fit the perfect ‘athlete profile’ we’re not asking that.  We’re asking that you show up, and share in the community that can only be found in the weight room.

Lifelong Endurance is here to not just build muscle but confidence and ability. We want you to walk away from every session feeling like you took a step towards your goals, and have homework you can do at home to supplement your training in between sessions.
