Welcome Coach Stacy Musunuru

Coach Stacy comes to us from Texas, where she has been guiding athletes to some amazing milestones. Not only is Stacy an incredible multi-sport coach, but she is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-EP.) This powerhouse of a Coach will also be taking on the role as head coach for the Colorado School of Mines Triathlon Club. Our entire community is lucky to have such an amazing member join our team! Running: 5K: 22:23, 10K: 47:30, Half marathon 1:45

Top Result: Numerous podium finishes in Dallas/Ft Worth 5k, 10k races and sprint distance triathlons. Age Group Nationals qualifier several times.

Favorite Race: My hardest, but favorite race was Escape from Alcatraz

Favorite Post-Race Treat/ Meal: Chocolate milk, eggs, or anything peanut butter!

Favorite non-(running/triathlon/cycling) activity: Spending time with my husband and daughter, walking our Boston Terrier (Norm), and exploring Colorado!

Why I coach: I love helping others achieve their goals and have them realize they can do things they once thought they couldn’t.

Coaching Philosophy: My coaching philosophy is to help athletes balance training work and life, while achieving their goals. I create customized training programs based on season/race goals, realistic training time commitment and current fitness level. I create safe and effective periodized training plans to enhance performance and reduce risk of injury. My focus is to keep athletes healthy so they enjoy the training process and make it to the start line feeling prepared.
