I am thankful for my family, especially these three crazy nephews. Thankful I am able to go home to Ohio at Christmas Time to see everyone and that we can gather around the table or in a room and spend time playing games, telling stories, enjoying Midwest comfort food and laughing until we cry.

My Tribe
This year has been one of challenge, growth, and learning. From taking numerous athletes to the national stage, to the physical stage at TrainingPeaks Endurance Coaching Summit, the big dance at Chicago, and releasing a new program with Curated Coaching we’ve accomplished a lot. I’m thankful that I have the amazing home team at Lifelong Endurance. I’m blessed to have the support of Jesse at Total Health Solutions who keeps me and my athletes healthy - he’s always willing to make time to chat and is amazingly responsive with my athletes and keeps me up to date on how we need to change training to heal and grow. Nora and the Revenue Tribe team have helped us leverage our Why and has allowed us to bring our Mission and Vision to the forefront of everything we do. Lastly, to my team of athletes at Peak Performance Running - the parents and athletes are the best around and we wouldn’t be where we are without the word of mouth and endless love this team shows us. 2020 has a lot of excitement in store and I couldn’t be more excited!

Community
I'm Thankful for my running buddies this year. It's a special thing to have a close-knit group to share in the long miles, hard races, and hearty post-run breakfasts.

Strength and Health
I am thankful for my gift of movement. I am so thankful that I have a strong body and the ability to challenge myself to do some hard things! As well as a such a supportive family who is so willing to watch/support and encourage me to challenge myself! I am just so thankful to be able to climb to to top of some of the most challenging of terrain and see the views that this world has to offer.

Home
I am grateful to live in Boulder, CO! There is such access to the outdoors when you live at the base of the Flatirons that sometimes it’s easy to forget. Also there is a lot of good coffee here too...

Wild Places
I am grateful to have access to trails, mountains, and rivers so close to my home’ for the long runs that have taken me to desolate peaks, for the cold nights I have spent looking at desert stars. I am grateful for the wildlife and humans I have shared these places with, and the heros who are passionate about protecting the land. I am grateful for the past generations that have protected the wild places so I can enjoy them, uninterrupted by roads or construction, and I am grateful that we are working to save them for future generations. I am grateful for all of the adventures I have had in the wilderness, especially those I was able to share with friends, family, and most of all my little four-legged buddy.
