When this is all over
We’ll be here
We’re not going anywhere any time soon! We’re focused on moving our athletes forward and helping them maintain and build fitness so that when the time comes that we can get back to racing - our athletes will be ready to tear it up! At Lifelong Endurance we believe in starting with the end in mind and while our spring races got moved - we are moving forward towards new goals in the fall. As a company we are doing a few things to keep our people motivated and moving forward.
What we’re doing right now
More than ever before we’re doubling down on strength training and body weight work to capitalize on this extended off-season. As a team this comes down to strength training and a return to foundational work. It’s unwise to do very specific work with the timelines around races still feeling shaky. We’re doing a weekly body weight workout challenge each week and keeping things light and fun.
We’re doubling down on interaction and engagement. Whether you find us on Instagram or our Lifelong Endurance Athletes and Coaches Facebook Group showcasing the hard work everyone is putting in right now through our Lemonade Race Series. This a a tough time and seeing others out there putting in the work helps us all lace up and get out there and train. You can bet that once this is over we’ll be celebrating right along with you.
Where we’re going
We don’t have a magic wand and I know we all want to wish this away! The reality is that as athlete’s we don’t train to race, we train to become the best version of ourselves. Training is a lifestyle and not just a means to an end - at Lifelong Endurance we’re committed to ensuring that our clients needs are met to the highest standard.
We’re still prepping for races and we’re getting creative as many of you have multiple marathons or multiple peak “A” races in quick succession - we are planning ahead and preparing ourselves and you for what’s next. Building strong, capable athletes is what we’re all about! If you’re not on the team and looking at a daunting schedule this fall - let us create a plan that ensures race day success. There has never been a better time to have a coach - in uncertain times you know you have someone looking over your shoulder, guiding you, and ultimately helping you make the decisions that will best influence your fitness.
Curated Coaching
We’re continuing to take clients into our Curated Coaching program and provide athletes with a dynamic training plan with downloadable workouts. Curated Coaching is a training plan program where athletes have a place to connect with other athletes in our Athletes and Coaches Program with access to coaches through e-mail for coaching questions. We will continue to offer this program at $45 and build you towards race day success
1:1 Coaching
We’ve got so many offerings for personal and remote coaching available. Whether you’re looking for a run coach for trail, road, or ultra running we have an experienced team that will take you to the next level. If you’re looking at tackling your first triathlon here in Colorado the Golden Tri Team and our triathlon coaching staff are happy to guide you and keep you moving forward even without a pool! We’ve recently expanding our strength offering to work with our partners at Sessions:6, Trailhead CrossFit and InFit studios. If you’re looking for personal instruction, injury rehab, or performance coaching in the weight room we have the people for you! We are all taking clients and look forward to serving your training needs.
Events
Once we know it’s safe to get back to training - we’ll be back to connecting with all of you. Keep it pinned to our Facebook and Instagram pages to see updates and announcements. We’ve got plans to do plenty of skills and form clinics. We’re excited to build alongside our gym partners and bring strength training, running form clinics, and Q&A together! We look forward to having you at one of our upcoming events as soon as it is safe to do so!
We have also been loving getting to know our remote clients through our virtual events, so we have every intention of continuing the virtual happy hour calls once a month.
Hitting Pause
Don’t have a heart attack…we’re not going anywhere. We are however, taking this time to slow down, dig in, and prepare for when this whole thing blows over. We hope you guys are all finding the silver lining in these tough times. All the best!
